Biography[]
Background[]
Tubal-Cain was the descendant of Cain, the first murderer. From a young age, Tubal-Cain became the leader of the Cainites, descendants of Cain, and emerged as a master in smithing, forging new tools and weapons. At one time, he encountered Lamech and demanded him to surrender his hill so he could make it into a mine. Lamech fought back and Tubal-cain killed him to claim the hill.
While Lamech's son, Noah, years later, was building the Ark, Tubal-cain and his people started killing and eating other humans, since his people were running out of food.
Battle for the Ark[]
He discovered that Noah was building the Ark after he saw a huge flock of birds approaching it. After this, Tubal-cain tried to take over the Ark with his army, but he was driven out along his soldiers by the Watchers. When the first rainstorms began to cover the world, Tubal-cain asked the Creator why He did not speak to him. After that, he and his army attacked the Ark and overwhelmed the Watchers who were guarding it, but by the time he killed the last Watcher, springs bursted from the ground, drowning his army and every other human that wasn't in the Ark. While everyone else was dying, Tubal-cain holded unto the Ark's walls and snuck inside it, plotting with Ham to take over it.
While he was taking time to recover from the injuries he got during the battle for the Ark, Tubal-Cain taought Ham his knowledge, beliefs and even his skills. After the rains finally stopped, Tubal-Cain fully recovered from his injuries. Afterwards, Ham lured his father Noah to the edge of the vessel and Tubal-Cain ambushed him. Then, Tubal-Cain and Noah enganed in combat. While fighting, the Ark crashed into a mountain and Tubal-Cain was thrown through the shattered wall of the vessel. Despite being injured, Tubal-Cain managed to came back on the Ark and continued to fight Noah. When it finally seemed like he would kill Noah, Ham stabbed Tubal-Cain in the back of his ribcage. Even though Ham betrayed him, Tubal-Cain complimented him for becoming a "real man" and allowed himself succumb to his wounds. With his death, the lineage of the Cainites ended for good.
Personality[]
Tubal-cain is man of complex morality and a study in contrasts. On one hand, he is a murderous and depraved man leading a bloodthirsty army and morally depraved civilization guilty of cannibalism, mass murder and sexual and environmental rape. He can be perceived as the phisycal embodiment of humanity's most brutal and animalistic instincts. However, he is also sympathetic and can also bee seen as a highly intelligent man who is tortured by doubt, fear and intense feelings of abandonment. He's motivated by the understandable and sympathetic goal of protecting his people from the coming cataclysm. Even some of his evil actions were done for relatable motivations. For example, he killed Lamech to reclaim his lands so that his city could have a new sorce of susteinability. He seized the Ark so that his tribe could survive, since, as he himself pointed out, it could easily carry hundreds if not thousands of families to safety. Even when he's not doing it for survival, he acts like a good person. For example, he saved Ham from being killed and was always kind to him. And even when Ham betrayed him, Tubal complimented Ham, since he "has become a man". He also tried to kill Noah even to prevent him from killing Illa's child, showing that he also had standards regarding murder.
Quotes[]

Damned if I don't do everything it takes to do just that. Damned if I don't take what I want." ― Tubal-Cain to Noah during their first conversation.
"I am a man made in your image. Why would you not converse with me?... I give life and I take life away; as you do. And I am like you. Am I not? Speak to me... SPEAK TO ME!" ― Tubal-Cain to The Creator
